But in doing so I have learned a lot about myself and found out what I like and do not like out of life. I have learned over the years to always take the honest route in life and not play "games" and invite drama into my life. But over the years I have met people who think it is alright to change me into something that is the exact opposite and forsake my personal views on life. It is either be more liberal or be more lenient to the plight of others or not to be so hard on people or some lame attempt to make me think like them. I agree that life needs more compassion and love, but I am not into the "I am a victim" to make their way through life. And yes I do rant and rave a lot, it is part of my personality. Most people find it charming when I do. But I do laugh and hate reality television shows. I am a meat and potatoes kind of guy and want things to be simple and planned out. I do want to meet people and build up a friends list of individuals who may want to hang out when it is good for everyone. But I am not into a rush to be in a relationship because you need to be friends in order to have a relationship. Kinda goes hand in hand. If something comes up? So be it. But as I said I am not going to rush it. When I am not working I tend to stay to myself and read or catch up on political news or even play video games to unwind. Yes, at 40 something and I do play video games. It beats heavy drinking and smoking weed. I am drug free and will remain that way. I tend to approach life from the "old school" kind of mentality with a strong opinion and free thinking and thus the love of music and TV shows and love some of today's shows like Mad Men and if I am in the mood Walking Dead. Now when I do say "Old school" I do not mean "make me a sandwich woman or a woman's place is barefoot and pregnant." I mean I have rules I abide by and I do the occasional I am a "macho" guy thing and my word is bond. I love to tell "dirty jokes" and be "dirty because it is who I am and it is funny. I am not metro-sexuality in the least bit, and I do not get into the twilight style movies. I appreciate history(teaching my it) and art, which lead me into drawing and writing(nothing published yet). I am money driven and want success and want it all before retirement and I am driven to make it in anyway possible in this new America legally. I pray and believe in God but I am spiritual not religious 1) My faith is my own and this is my journey. And I will not attempt to convert or bend people to believe what I believe. 2) I because I also believe in science, many of life's mysteries can be explained through scientific thought and exploration.
