I was a project manager at Boeing, but was forced to stop working due to a chronic pain condition. I'm a widowed cat lady, animal lover, and nerd, I have one cat and am fostering kittens ... working my way towards the crazy cat lady status. My best friend and husband of eighteen years passed away in January 2024. This has forced me to rejoin the dating scene after a very long absence. I have a degree in zoology and a minor in mathematics... so I like animals and numbers more than I do people. I pretty much listen to audiobooks all day everyday ... favorite genre: fantasy ... favorite authors: Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Patrick Rothfuss, VE Schwab, JRR Tolkien ... to name a few. I have an eclectic taste in music that ranges from classical to rock to to heavy metal and all sorts of music in between. I have a compendium of useless facts that I'm more than willing to share with any who ask. I love Star Wars, old movies, Monty Python and dark British comedies. If Monty Python and the Holy Grail bores you then you need not apply here .... you won't get far with this girl. I enjoy long late night philosophical discussions with people who fascinate me and love learning new things and exploring new places. I have very little experience these days with being single and navigating the dating world, but I am looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends and connections.
