Hello! I'm an academic type (I have a Ph.D. in a science field), but I'd rather be outside than in the office. I enjoy books and music (wide range of genres), and I also like many outdoor activities, such as skiing, soccer, running, mountain biking, hiking, etc. I like going to the pub as well as the opera. I'm not unattractive, and I'm in decent physical condition. Please excuse this rather tentative introduction; this is the first time I've ever done anything like this, and, given the nature of my job, I have a need for being discrete.

My Ideal Person I'm simply interested in adding some spice to my life. I'm looking for someone with whom I can have a good conversation, in addition to the "spice". I'm fairly open-minded regarding most aspects of the potential involvement, e.g., the nature and level of intimacy.
