I am presently studying Nursing at the Memorial Hospital here in Pennsylvania, not doing a full time work. Cooking is one of my favorite activities… preparing a meal with subtle undercurrents yet zesty palate teasers , with a nice Cabernet or Pinot; enjoying warm conversation and a background of soft yet powerful Celtic music. Like many of life’s pleasures , it is in the contrasts that depth and warmth flourish. One of my passions is inland sailing… the experience of having to mold our efforts to complement the forces of wind , and the natural sense of being as ‘One’ while slicing through the waves without any sounds of societies usual roar of traffic , engines or cell phones intruding? I have always enjoyed a good novel… or a drama at the movies… several of my favorites would be Shawshank Redemption,The Last Mohican,The Interpreter and the recently released My Sassy Girl or Things We Lost in the Fire and Seven Pounds. dining out , shopping , golf , travel and racquetball all enjoyed. In life I believe that most events (good or painful) are “two side” of the same coin.
