Introduction
Let's be real, I'm really not good dating material, at least on paper. I don't have a car, I don't have much money, and I don't know one cool place to go around here. So if I were to keep filling out all these forms and tests and lists, the picture it would paint of me would be pretty bleak. What I do have, though, is something that no algorithm will ever be able to figure out. I have stories. I have tales of adventures in far away lands, seeking hidden treasures, and reveling in the freedom of life. I have experiences to share and advice to offer. Before that makes me sound like a loud mouth who only talks about myself at any given opportunity, I want you to know how I have all these tales to recount. Every where I have gone, all over this world, not only have I immersed myself in the culture and daily lives of the people I live with, I also spent vast amounts of time just listening, soaking up knowledge. I learned that often times, someone in even the most desperate moments of despair, could be relieved of a large chunk of their burden with something as simple as an understanding ear. I learned that the absolute, most valuable commodity in the world is our time. I'm willing to invest that in the people I care about, down to the very last second. I have a very realistic view of the world, but my heart is still that of a romantic and a poet. I believe in love and the power it possesses, the power that we possess because love is the pinnacle of human enlightenment, for it was humans that conceived the notion of love. That's powerful. Sometimes, I get a little carried away. Once I commit to something, it kind of becomes my obsession and passion. My number one obsession in the entire world is music; sweet, nasty music. Everything in my life has some kind of connection to music. I play a few different instruments, none amazingly but all of them pretty well. You would think my entire passion was wrapped up in strings, at first glance, because all around me you'll find string instruments. Acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitars, a ukulele (of course!), and I want so many more; banjos, mandolins, fiddles, a harpsichord (I don't even know what a harpsichord is!), but I also have a dirty little secret: I have a secret fetish for horns. I love the tenor saxophone and trumpet, and brass street bands in New Orleans. I love the Blues of the Mississippi Delta, and a little further north, the electrified sound of the Chicago Blues, then a trip back down the Mississippi to the land of Jazz. I love the Bluegrass of Appalachia, as well as your very own Texas Swing. The Rockabilly of Alabama and Georgia, and the Crooners of New York. And then, in the 1950s, the most beautiful thing in the world happened: All these musicians started talking to one another, and copying each other, borrowing styles from each other, and the most beautiful gift of all was the offspring. Sweet, golden Rock and Roll. So yeah, I have plans to go into the music production/artist management field. I write music, and I play, but I have no grand delusion of being a Rock Star. I do, however, have every intention of finding a way for music to be my entire livelihood. I talk about music a lot and I've spent God knows how many hours of my life submerged in live music. Basically, what I'm saying is I hope you like talking about music, because it will happen. I'm also an amazing cook (which is convenient, because I'm also an amazing eater), a military veteran, and a former bronc rider. I'm really good with techy stuff like computers and electronics, and there's not a whole lot of stuff that you can break that I can't fix. I also know how to wash, fold, and put away my own laundry and I think that's a quality we can all admit is an often overlooked, yet still important one to have. I'm super competitive, but not in a roid rage way. I don't care if I win or lose, I just love having the opportunity to compete. Don't worry, I never keep score. At times I can be really quiet, and I guess that's a rare thing in Texas because I've had so many more awkward silences since moving here. Typically, though, I'm pretty good at talking with people. I like words, and the flexibility of the English language to be able to twist the meaning of a word just by using it with another word. Grammar and spelling are important to me, but I'm no Grammar Nazi. As long as you can show that you do know the proper use of a word or a phrase, I don't care how you convey your messages. The important thing is it was said. I am fluent in the ghetto language, but I would much rather avoid it if at all possible. Apparently, people are surprised to hear me talk after reading my profile. I guess I do sound kind of**** and pretentious, and you might imagine I speak with a snotty attitude, but truth be told, I have a big ol' Southern drawl, and deep down I'm still just a good ol' boy from the backwoods of Mississippi. I like to hunt when I can, Mossy Oak is for lazy people, and fishing's just a reason to go sit on a boat and drink beer, and I'm ok with that. Speaking of, I think a post-anything beer is always acceptable, and a pre-anything beer should be. I love the outdoors and being in nature. I like camping and hiking. I love backpacking, but sadly there's nowhere around here to backpack. I taught wilderness survival in the past, and I can grow stuff if there's nothing around to kill. Basically, I'm the guy you want on your team when the zombie apocalypse happens. So there it is. This is how I define myself, how I choose to describe myself to you. I've been as open and honest as I possibly can, because there's no excuse to build any kind of friendship on the foundation of a lie. I'm a great friend to have, loyal to a fault, honorable, honest, and an absolute lock box when it comes to information exchanged between me and you. Come on, there's an adventure out there. I've been waiting on you. I'm just looking to explore sexually. I would love to find a female companion that would be interested in experimenting together in the swinger lifestyle. I'm ready to branch out into group sex and multiple partners. Anyway, I'm chill, intelligent, and patient, and pretty good looking I"m told. I have pics I'll send you. I just don't trust the politics of this little small town place. So yeah, hit me up. UPDATE: Apparently this site is next to impossible to use as a free member :/ I can't contact anybody, all I can do is hotlist, and who the hell looks at that anyway? So yeah, anybody want to talk, I guess hit me up.
