Right, finally got 5 mins, so here goes. I am a 37 year old (although I do still occasionally asked for ID when buying Alcohol, which is both flattering and slightly disturbing at the same time), Single Guy, Living alone in Southampton. I would say I'm a fairly normal bloke, with average looks (so I'm no Brad Pitt but no Elephant Man either, I sit comfortably in the middle somehwere), an average body (although I'm working on that), and, hopefully without sounding arrogant, above average intelligence (I'm no Einstein or Hawking, but I'm closer to them than I am Joey Essex, so I can hold intelligent conversation with most people on most subjects, and have a decent all-round knowledge, without being an Astro-Physicist ot Oxbridge Lecturer). So nothing special but a generally good Guy. I pride myself on having a good (often wicked) sense of humour and people who know me would definitely agree. I like to laugh and generally smile through life, I don't really ever get stressed or down, as I just don't see the point. I decided long ago that stress was a waste of energy and never actually achieves anything, other than making bad or tough situations worse, so I've lived my life without letting things get to me (and I'm not saying that as someone who has had everything handed on a plate, and has just sailed through life, believe me I have had more than my fair share of situations that have tested that theory), and I have to say it has worked for me. So as I was saying I just like to smile, and as a result am an eternal optimist. I love to make others laugh too, so have always been ready to do something silly to entertain others (within reason of course), tell a joke, or recount a good anecdote to brighten an evening with friends. Well that's my "5 mins" up for tonight, so I'll continue with this when the next 5 mins occurs. I'm sure to some I am probably dribbling on a bit already, but having used sites like (and including AFF) for a few years now, when I'm trawling through profiles, I find it helps me a hell of a lot when someone has written a decent description about themselves, rather than just a couple of lines.
