Black Friday, Dummy

well, decided I needed a new tv since football scores are so much smaller because so many people have BIG FLAT SCREENS.....I can't read the scores.

Best Buy ads shows a 49" Toshiba for less than half price.....$159.
Store opens at 5pm....I show up at 4:30....too late. The line is 1/4 of a mile long wrapped around a corner. I stand, I wait.......the line moves. I am in.
Talking to the sales clerk, the store sent people out at 3:30 and handed out coupons for the TV. None available. No rain checks. NO TV !!!

I got to Target...they open at 6PM. The line is twice as long as the other one.
Really? I wait...the ad says 48" tv for $170. I get in run to the tv section. There is a frantic crowd grabbing huge boxes. I ask for the tv special. They are all gone.
I leave.

As I walk the parking lot, I laugh at four people who bought two huge 55" tvs and are trying to figure out how to get them into a mid-sized four door car that barely held all of them. I smile and go home to my used parrot.

Maybe next year............sigh

 that's why I do not do black Friday they always run out of stuff

 Should have offered to buy one of the 55" from the people in the parking lot, could have been a win-win for everyone !

 Flat screen T V for $149.00?Treatment for displaced jaw $3,654.97.
That Motorola Quasar with works in the drawer is looking
mighty good in the family room right about now.
Black friday II! Dec.27th!
Using more than all the road!

Both stores had several uniformed police, which kept things fairly civil.
