I see no reason to lie about my age. If you plan on meeting someone they will find out eventuall;y. I am happy with my age

The biggest reason to put an age (birth date and year) other than your actual one is the site's "data retention issues". When your card info is already at risk here why give away further identity info to make it easier to access an account? My actual age is off by, at most, 3 years. When I actually meet women from here I tell them my actual age. I has yet to really matter. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Why lie about Your age.. Age is just a number.. You can't expect to be Old & Wise..If You were never Young & Crazy!!!

I don't lie about my age but do understand fudging a bit for data misdirection. While I admit I am not good at guessing a woman's age some of the women here look a lot older than the age listed. I figure tis better to have someone think "You look young for age". than "You sure look old for your age."  If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.

I see no reason to be anything but truthfully being that I am not going to meet anyone anyway. Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

Actual real age is 68, why lie about it ? As you stated in your post, sooner or later the truth is going to come out, and when it does, it won't be pretty !!!

I’m very confortable with my age which is almost 52 ! No reason to lie about it .

I never saw the point of telling someone my incorrect age, unless it was a telemarketer.

For many there is no reason but some find it necessary to obfuscate their identity. Considering the internet data collection/retention machine vs. privacy, I'm surprised anyone list any identifying information at all. Especially when the terms of use says they (site owners) can use that information at will for any purpose.

I do not mind if people lie about their age, but some take this a bit too far. I think lying more than 5 or occasionally ten years can get quite ridiculous. Meeting up with people who could be the parents of the person in the photo they sent can feel uncomfortable.

I use my actual age, but not my real date of birth. Only because I don't want this website to have any actual identifying information - an Passion data breach isn't something I want to worry about.

why lie about your age. its only a number and most often with a higher number you know more about what your doing

I stick to the truth easier to remember. Was meeting a e2 year old he kept saying age is just a number. Thinknthat is the name of the blog I wrote about it. I well we met and he is older then me and could barely make it up the stairs where the coffee was. I asked why his response women did not want to meet old men. Was a very quick coffee and suggested he start telling truth.
