"Didn't I hear that one before"?

"Didn't I hear that one before"? Years ago a lot of years ago. I told a friend a joke. He laughed, it was funny. Then a week later I told the same joke. He made a comment, "Didn't I hear that one before"? That stuck on my mind! I have a friend who believe in quick money. Buy low, sell high or other ways to make a dollar. This is his way of making money without punching a clock, his wife is furious! She said, she been trying to get a job and hold on to it! He love to run the streets. I known him 30 years now. I remember when he was a student intern. he got a good government job and figured out, there is more money hustling. He left New Mexico , and when to Arizona and got married. A few week ago, I talked to his wife. The first thing she said, he's not the man I married. She want him to get a job and keep it, and she threating to leave him. So when I talk to him, he said, the same thing! That in a few month he'll find a job. I told g him, "Didn't I hear this one before"? These word just came out of my mouth. Through a friend, I met another person who was down on his luck. This friend found a place for him to stay. He would stay and take care of this elderly man. The deal was, he would get a job, pay $200 a month and help clean the house, cut grass and do things around the house. This would 1997, in 2007, he crashed at my place for a night. He said the same thing he did 10 years earlier, that he's in a rut, he going to get a car, have money in his pocket and buy a house. Of course, you know what I said! "Didn't I hear this one before"? He has potential! His situation haven't changed a bit. The last few months, I thought I need a change! Or see what's out there. There was some day that was a carbon copy of times before. I guess I got content on how things are. Last weekend, I followed the same routine and was thinking about my future. Without speaking, I though in my mind, "Didn't I think of this before?           |

Good morning my friend some people never change do they it's kind of sad. And yes we always here that saying "Didn't I Hear That Before". I hope your friend changes but I doubt he will. I hope you have a great day.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

When I hear people say, "He's not the man I married", or , "She's not the woman I married", I wonder [sometimes out loud] , just how long were you together before you got married.

lol yep heard that and many times I just shook my head and walked away thinking back on a time not all that long ago I worked three jobs at one time so I could pay my bills and live comfortable and along comes jones ( not his name ) and bang told a hard luck story and sucker me had to help ..lol someone should have been behind me kicking my ass all the way..I soon dropped him like a piece of hot horse shit ( horse shit if its piled high enough gets hot) anyway seen him around as I put my head down or look the other way when I pass him , thinking of all the times he said " I'll pay you back I promise ", lol so far I didn't get rich off of that promise ..but I own a lot and now am comfy in my life..some people you can only help so much..thanks
