I am separated, live in the Deep South and love it, love to laugh, have a slightly left-of-center sense of humor, adore driving and rock music, gardening, have two cats and had three dogs (given away against my will, long story, own my own home, love people but am a writer and reader and love my solitary time. Was a teacher, wrote five books that were published (for teachers), wrote two more unpublished and working on a non-fiction account of well, of my life. It's more bizarre than you think (my life, that is). I am 60 and enjoy the company of younger people from 20's to 70's. I was told I am young of spirit, and truly I work on maintaining my immaturity I love life even when the going is relly tough as it is now. I can take the joke! I have three wonderful grown children, and four gorgeous, gifted grandchildren (my genes, naturally). I am now retired on disability from teaching Kindergarten, my love, but am busy busy busy. I am a nightowl and love so sleep til ten or so. I hate sleeping....I might miss something! I never get flowers from anyone anymore or backrubs or closeness or conversation. Want to take it very, very slowly now. No sex stuff for now although I'm very, very sensual. Warning: I can talk non-stop, but I can be very quiet. I love my solitary time and would like together time with someone special.

My Ideal Person: Someone quiter than me, someone lively but not too much. I like a man who enjoys rock concerts, rides a Harley ideally, a romantic but a strong man, not mean no meanness allowed and no bossing. I'm bossy enough for both of us. Someone, and I don't think this man can be found, who listens and ideally, reads.
Someone somewhat physically fit, nice looking without being pretty boy, although I love Johnny Depp! I like a man who has inner strength and isn't afraid to defy authority for those he loves. I want loyalty and trust above all else. Something I've never had. And did I say flowers? I want flowers every day of my life and books, gifts little things.
