i have learned that "no strings" and "serious" means totally different things to a guy as to a woman. to me, for example, no strings means don't be possessive, don't call me all day long, don't get into arguments with me about going on vacations etc... to guys it means i will see you ONLY on my terms and for my convenience. in other words, when i see "no strings" i don't think, "this is someone who isn't needy, cool" i think "this is someone who is a total selfish POS"

as for "serious", i can't imagine anyone more serious than my x-husband or the men at work. so when someone uses that word...come on dude, get real -> i don't want to get a mortgage with you. if you are GOOD enough, pretty enough, i might want to take you with me to my x-mas party at work.

bottom line, words are the only things between us right now, use the right words. there's another BS between people. i don't have time to read nonsense.
