I have cerebral palsy (which mainly messes up my speech and mobility a bit) and have dealt with it since birth, and it has shaped my identity in numerous different ways both negative and positive; so if you have any problems with that, you're probably going to be best served by fucking right off now. Harsh maybe, but believe me, it saves a lot of trouble. Recently I had have the confidence to call myself polyamorous, non-binary gender and queer but it's still a little new to me, so be gentle with me. Or not. I am a bit kinky, to tell the truth. I adore physical contact of any kind but understand other people may not. I have a strong dislike/distrust of overt and unthinking traditional white masculinity that seems wildly insecure. I like doing cute stuff and being open emotionally and I've no time for people who think those are weaknesses. I believe in feeling good both mentally and physically. I know that that's hard, but I like to try with regards to myself and other people. Okay, I've probably lost all of you by now, but here we go. I'm pretty much a mixture of anxiety, attentiveness, cheekiness, curiosity, flightiness, introspection, loyalty, mushiness, self-depreciation and wittiness. I get angry about a lot of things but I like to have fun and making other people happy. Making someone's day makes me incredibly fuzzy inside. Anyway, I'd describe myself these days as passionate, thoughtful, and hopefully empathetic. I sometimes seem to give off a cynical, jaded vibe, but I really do care about the state of society and the world and have been trying immensely hard to keep being a good per who genuinely values other people's experiences and emotions. I'm a committed socialist who very much believes in stuff like feminism, intersectionality and social justice, so if you're the type to scoff at the mention of those, then I doubt we'd get along. Never stop self-evaluating y'all. I love food, both cooking and eating. Recently discovered how awesome cooking for other people is. Music is probably an essential thing to me. is my main passion by far but I like anything from funk to two tone ska, dub reggae to industrial, to soul, and fuck knows how many subgenres of metal. I like comedy a lot, but it has to be well-thought out and aimed in the right direction, rather than supposedly ironic regurgitation of 70s comedians' routines (hint: not as ironic as you think they are). I like video games too. Well, some. Not a fan of a generic military shootymans games where you trundle through imperialism or games with humour copy-pasted from the internet. Hate the culture, industry and journalism too. The medium's cool though, I like finding interesting games and contemplating how the various aspects interact with each other and the player. Game design and storytelling really fascinate me. I did say I was a doofus. I like other media too: anime, comics, films, wrestling etc. I'm really drawn to abstract, oneiric stuff and I love learning about audio and visual techniques and spending time thinking how they affect pacing and story. I write a bit but it's not a regular paying thing as of yet. I just like sharing time and experiences with other people, I guess. Bonding over whatever, interests, history, food, alcohol, etc. I just as likely to talk about Communist kobold witches than I am Szechuan tomato sauce or Dario Argento or Jack Kirby or how awful ATOS are.
