I have a very simple outlook on how people view me: what you see is what you get. I hope that my friends think of me as the guy that's always there for them, in fair weather and foul--dependable, generous, and understanding. Does it work every hour of every day? Not even close. But while honor, loyalty, and honesty seem like archaic concepts in our society these days, they mean something very profound to me, and I try to live up to that standard, even on my bad days. Yes, I'm also a card-carrying romantic. I believe you get more by giving with no expectation of return. Naïve? Maybe so. But I saw an ad the other day that says it all: "Normal can't be amazing." I value passion, intellect and empathy. I'm attracted to verve, decision, wit, and creativity, and to people who are willing to learn, and willing to teach. To inspire and be inspired. I'm currently on holiday for a few weeks in Scotland. Just got here, but I positively adore the vibe! I've seen part of Edinburgh and Dundee so far, and a lot of Arbroath, but I can't WAIT to see more. Would anybody like to play native tour-guide? Give me a shout!
