I love the look of traditional Indian (from India) jewelry, North African jewelry (Tureg especially) and Middle Eastern belly-dancing and bridal jewelry. I have many cookbooks, which are basically homemaker porn, I look at them but when I'm in the middle of actual cooking (just like when you are in the middle of actual fucking) I'm not looking at them. I have ecclectic taste in all aspects of the senses, this includes eating in or dining out. I have a massive spice rack that's filled to overflowing, and my pantry usually looks like I have a family of 4- but those are ingredients for when I'm cooking, especially when I'm entertaining. I have not, however, made a decent pie crust EVER. Those you can buy :) I have a hard time dining out at the same old place, or eating the same old thing each week. I much prefer Thai, Mexican, Japanese, Italian, French, Vietnamese, Indian, Greek, Polish, Armenian, or astronaut food in some kind of random rotation (mmmm....freeze-dried ice cream shaped into a dildo). I will try just about anything served to me, like new experiences always. I do have to be a wee bit careful with spices, have what I could call a Gringa Tongue. I'm probably the only woman you'll ever speak to who has had: rattlesnake pizza (in London), raw barnacles as an appetizer (in Portugal), sauteed rabbit and goat cheese crepes (in France), roasted baby goat (again, Portugal), sea urchin sushi (in Boston), buffalo, deer, and elk sausage(from my uncle the mountain man/hermit). I don't drink often, many times I will just order a regular coke with lemon. If I am in that kind of mood, it could be anything from a few tequila shots with lime, to a girly drink to a scotch on the rocks. What I don't like or drink is beer. If it's wine I like best of all ice wine, or anything sweet and fruity. I'm also a big fan of port.
