My life--fitter happier more productive, not drinking too much, regular exercise three times a week, and also the exact opposite. Me—a somewhat off kilter balance of left-brain/right-brain, A-type/B-type. By habit, I am a night-owl and it takes something special (skiing or killer coffee) to get me up in the morning. I have a passionate interest in news, politics and world affairs, which, unfortunately stops at the newspaper’s edge. I love books, mostly fiction, and believe them to be of such importance that, with the cross-reference to their cd collection, a person’s books will tell everything about a person. In that spirit I offer some of my favorite authors: Dostoyevsky, David Foster Wallace, Hunter S. Thomson, Sylvia Plath, Ann Dillard, Cormic Mcarthy, and then some of my favorite bands/musicians: The Byrds, CCR, Nick Drake, Thievery Corporation, Stephane Pompougnac, BRMC, Fiona Apple, Yo la Tengo, Outkast, Blackalicious, Radiohead.
