Thank you for viewing my profile. First of all, I am happily divorced. I am one of those people that would not change anything that they have done in the past because it is that past that has made the person what they are today. So, mistakes I have made in the past I am very comfortable with. I have a wonderful 11 year old who means the world to me. I too am one of those people that is putting the word out there saying if you do not like then look elsewhere. Also, I have a cat named Fluffy and one named Cricket, so my "better half" better like cats. Over the past twenty seven years I have been heavily involved in volunteering so I can give back to "my communities". Such areas of volunteering included Domestic Violence Prevention, Critical Incident Stress Management, Fire Fighting(Police), Boy Scouts of America(Beavers), various committees. The reason I mention these is not for a pat on the back but rather to show my interest and dedication to others and show that I am not a needy individual who is dependent on anyone. I say what I said above but having someone to call my own would be nice...like two peas in a pod, like Fred Flintsone to Wilma, like...well, I think you get the picture? Words to describe myself are: dependent, dedicated, committed, fun loving, caring, honest, trustworthy, jovial--yes, I have a sense of humour too. Some may call it twisted, warped, peverted at times but I can see humour in anything. Now, to bring things down to reality. When I was 4 years old I was hit by a car and for the past 42 years I have had a disability known as a hemiparesis. This disability is characterized by a muscular weakness of one side of the body. Mine just so happens to be my right side. I cannot open my right hand and I have a slight limp. No, I'm not like Quasimodo, the bell ringer in the book The Hunchback of Notre Dame but would like myself to him because at the end he gets the beautiful "damsel". However, the things that make me me are still within me. I still love, I have a wonderful that has accepted me(yes, he is mine), I DON'T have to use little blue pills(if you catch my drift), I have a full-time job which I truly enjoy , I drive my own car without modifications. If you still want to know more about me and are still interested than I welcome your interest. If you want to know more about my disability than I welcome that too. I am not perfect and expect that someone I meet to be the same. However, if you decide your interests lie elsewhere than I fully understand, wish you well and enjoy the FISH.
