OK clearly I'm not the world's best blogger here.
Just thought I'd do a shout out, I have my own place!!! Woo Hoo!! I started moving some stuff in and will finish my move this weekend! I am so excited about that!! I get along pretty well with my ex, as well as can be expected but I want privacy and my own space!

Yeah the title kinda fits my mood and how my brain is working after a long night which followed a long weekend.
So starting out with thursday night I got together with a friend for games, while I love this friend like sister and she is truly one of the best friends I've ever had I feel like my common ground with her is running short.
Case in point conversation about cute guy who joined us for games
me: He was so hot
her: I don't know not exactly me type
Me: definitely my type, I was tempted to slip him my number but chickened out
her: why he lives so far away
me: what does that have to do with anything
To me this guy, was nice, hysterical, fun to be around and I thought he'd make the perfect fling to her she didn't get how I'd just want a random fling with a guy who lives in DC.
Next thing, this guy showed me a good amount of interest I think, if I'm reading his body language right... I need to gain self confidence to react better to those situations I think if I tried a bit harder, flirted harder I could have had my self that awesome fling.
Now the rest of the con was also kind of a bust last year I had such a blast... the differences one my are in town not with my parents in NY so I had to balance babysitting running switching them from one sitter to the next ect... so it wasn't the carefree time it was last year. While my ex and I are separated he is still a close friend and we spent a lot of it together but it was different too, in a lot of ways I missed him... not that I want to get back together I seriously don't all the reasons we split up are still there but he was so supportive of some stuff in my life that it made me miss being a couple on the other hand he could only do that because our relationship is no longer clouded with the negativity.
overall I could taken or left gen con, definitely not worth two PTO days.
