So after 7+ years on Passion what have I learned?

I reflected today that I have been on this site for over 7 years. Thats a long time to be on a site, dedicating time on a daily basis, all the while trying to run a business and still be married.
I'm still married, but that is not anything to write home about. I am opening myself to criticsm here, but am comfortable in the fact that my relationship is over, so I am merely 'doin time' for reasons I do not need to go into.
So, after 7 years, what have I learned.
1. Its a numbers game:
The ratio of men to women or even couples to men is staggering. I have met up with a number of people from this site and often discuss the volumes of 'hits' they receive compared to a single male. The reason is due to the simple wieght of numbers of single males.
So what's the answer? Similar to any competitive environment, work the numbers. Meet, chat, smile at, view as many as you can until you can engae in a civil conversation. In the end we all know why we are here, we just need to be able to find a like minded person. I have found those in the past and cherish the times I have spent.
2. You probably wont find a soul mate
The core reason for existence of this site is sex... not necessarily long lasting and trusting relationship. I may be wrong here, but this is what I have expereinced. I have met up with couples, women and men and I have chatted to many, many more of each. I have found that most are looking for new and broader expereinces and whilst noone would shun the miracle of finding their soul mate, it is acknowledged that it is not likely to be on a forum like Passion.
3. If at first you dont succeed - change.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Given this I dabbled in 'the other side' a little. That is, I have met up with the occassional guy. I must say this has been a new experince for me. I am yet to venture into sucking cock, but have had mine sucked by a few fellows. They do know how to envelope an appendage. No doubt I will do more of this... its a much easier numbers game.
5. I am a tits and arse man.
Regardless of 4 above, I do love the touch, feel, smell of a woman. I especially love tits. Dont knwo why, but every time I venture out and have my cock sucked by a bloke i do think 'if only this was a woman'. I guess that makes the 'shim' the next on my bucket list.

I have often wondered about the purpose of this site.
Sure, we all have the underlying desires to be fulfilled, but is that all?
I have met a number of people from this site - some I would consider to be great people in their own right and the type I would like to have around me in the normal day-to-day life.
But what do they think?
So let me come back to the basic premise of this site - sex!
Whilst that is the key, what really is the desire - Mine (I think) is companionship. Others may be Ego. Others may be better sex. Others may be alternative sex. Others may be sex...nothing more.
So what are we working towards - a meeting of the minds?
Not sure.
I have had a number of experiences from this site. I have met up with couples, I have met up with married women, I have met up with single women and I have even been asked by a husband to 'service' his wife... A fortunate experience indeed.
I work in an area (geographically) where fashion and image is powerful - just today i found myself mesmorised by a woman in jeans... she knew it; I knew it.. but nothing happened, other than one sided admiration.
Perhaps she is reading this now?
So why do men flock to this site in such numbers? The women that are on this site, in my opinion, are far more sexually advanced, at least in their thinking, than the norm.
The men? Well they may appear simple in their (our) desires, but look at the ratios. We have to stand out in a very large crowd.
The simple "Hey babe want a fuk?" wont cut it for the vast majority of people on this site.
Some things are very transparent - like the 23 yo from NY or Italy thats wants to catch up with me (of all people) and sends me kisses etc. This site has its rogues... as does everything in life.
Now I ahve come to the end of my rant. I am not sure what I am hypothesising, but i do think that there is some reason for being out there and, that this blog can be formulated by other opinions.
And so I await your views...
Other than that, I know Lily & jilly are telling me to read and contribute to other blogs... I will, I will.

Well I have been a standard member on this site for over 5 years. Why have I not upgraded? The obvious reason is that I can't have Friend Finder on my credit card statement.
I must remember to organise a meeting with someone who can pay with their credit card and I can hand over the cash.
But thats not the reason for the Blog.
Its Time to be more active. As you may note from my profile, I am married. I have been scorned by some on this site for this, but I dont hide it. Why have I not walked? I don't really care to go into. But as you are aware, I am not the only one.
I have met a number of people from this site. Had many great experiences and have learned so much about myself and about sex. This forum really is a good place for me.
And so, I have been a fan of a couple of other bloggers and been a voyeur of many of your pics and cams, I thought I would start to put back into Passion world and start a Blog.
I am a big fan of SkyLily's blog... she knows that. I especially like her earlier work. A great writer and somewhat intimidating to be in the same forum, trying to be the same type of entertaining Blogger.... But she does have better breasts than me.
I would imagine that male bloggers don't get as much hits as females. The ledger on this site is certainly weighed down by males. But that's okay - That's Life, some would say.
So know my challenge is twofold:
1. To have the discipline to contribute to this blog on a (semi) regular basis and;
2. To be entertaining.
Your job... tell me what you want.
And with that, let the new chapter commence.
