People lie to themselves about what they want from this site. If things become possible, then some panic and don't have the courage to do the right thing... but not everyone. Keep looking, you will find someone who will follow through.

It so easy for people to come on this site and be something theh are not. To talk a big game, but then when it comes to actually following through they get worried because they have built themselves up to something they are not. So the guy either backs out at the last minute or just no shows, because he has no confidence in what he is about to do.

Marty is 100% correct. One can be anything they want to be behind a computer screen. I have met so many in person from this site since 2011 (in a public place of course) and a majority of them are 20 years older than their posted pictures and a couple have been smokers when they told me they were non-smokers. That's a deal breaker for me. Then of course in passing conversation it comes up that some are separated" when they told me they were single. I then ask them if the wife knows he is currently separated.....But also, like you I have made plans to meet one or two and they are a "no show." I will give the standard 15 minutes grace period and if no call by then to say why they are running late or to cancel I will leave the restaurant, go home and block them from all further contact. As for me, what you see is what you get and I always show up for a planned meet. I am what I am and try not to be anything else. Many times it has worked out well and I have dated some real nice good guys from here. So there is hope for you eaterola......Hang in there! {=} {=} KCClaire0923

What we have found is some men pretend to be women to get pics. Also we talk to people that are either not serious about meeting or are looking for the perfect fit woman or couple. They pass on a lot of good experiences because they aren't looking for people with real bodies. Also some women don't really want to meet or are scared. They change their minds. Stuff happens. The women we have met have been beautiful women and we have had wonderful times. We keep looking and have made lots of wonderful friends. Patience
