Making me crazy!

Ok, I've talked with a few different people now on here this summer. It sure does seem that a lot of single woman profiles on here are actually for a woman that is married, or has a boyfriend or something else.
If you are married just say so, if he likes to watch then say so, if he likes to join in for a 3-some, just say so!
Please be honest about the age on the profile, what ever age you may be! The person may not actually like the age you put but rather be more into your actual age.
Be honest about your photo's! if they are 10 years old, just say so. Don't tell me they are recent when I meet and find you look nothing like the photo you sent me. That's a huge turn off, and then really puts me in a lousy position of having to say thanks but I'm not interested now.
If you have gained 70 pounds just say hey, I've gained it, and am working on losing it or just love they way I am and plan to stay just the way I am.

Lake Superior Boating

I'm planning on taking the boat out on Lake Superior for a week long cruse around the western half of the lake. Basic ly I'm figuring near the end of July or beginning of August would be about the best time frame. The weather is usually the best that time of year so I don't have to worry too much about the boat taking a real pounding from high waves and I could actually walk away from the helm for a minute and get a beer from down in the salon or make a quick sandwich while still under way.
I have radar, gps, loran and the whole 9 yards so I don't have to worry about getting lost out there ( I am a real marine captain ya know) but I don't really know the towns around the coastline.
I figure a night in Ashland, then a night in Duluth, maybe 2 nights in Thunder Bay, then a night or 2 on Isle Royale before coming back across and back to my home port in Ontonagon.

My Question to y'all is, do you think I should spend more time seeing the Aposile islands? or where would be some other fun places to see along the way?

Have you ever gone fishing for walleye up here?
I catch my limit every time out!
I enjoy fishing, and don't care what I catch
I've never been fishing
Hate fishing, rather be home infront of the fire

I've been sitting here in the shop all day and it's been busy as hell. I think I'll take the afternoon off tomarrow and head up to Lake Superior and take the big boat out and either do some site seeing or fishing.
Now I just have to meet a woman that would like to come along hmmmmm

A Day Off? What Is That?

Sheesh do I need a day off! The last full day off I had was just before opening of fishing here in Wisconsin. Granted I knew what I was getting into when I opened my own company but by the end of summer I can hardly say my own name anymore.
The good thing is that with the growth of the company means that I will have to start looking at hiring a few employees to actually work the shop while I am out dealing with they expansion of a new shop in a larger town. I am excited about that but also scared at the same time. Basicly one of thoes deals where ya get that funny feeling in the pit of your stomach.
Back to my real thought though, I sure do need to schedual a day or two off so I can get out of here and have some fun.
Any ideas for me?

School Funding

I know this is off topic a bit but it has me a bit riled up!
There was just a referendum this past Tuesday for several towns here in the north woods to vote on. Both were dealing with school funding and should schools go over budget.
My personal opinion (yes I know everyone has an opinion just like they have an ass hole) is that the state should be doing more to help fund the schools. The Eagle River school system puts a huge amount of their funding into just bussing their students to school since almost every has to take a bus there. Where as the Milwaukee school system only has to put like 15% (I don't remember the exact number but it's close to that) of their budget to bussing so those funds can be then put to other activities.

Now, If I ran my company always asking for free extra money I'm sure I'd be out of business with in a year, but the one thing I really do feel is necessary is that we give our the best education that is possible and if that means we have to pay a bit extra to the schools in tax dollars I'm for it.
Now that both referenda were defeated, I think they should not drop the higher education and low-end education, but instead drop FOOTBALL! If they dropped football I'd be willing to bet that they would get their funding almost immediately! There would be an outcry of rage saying oh no we can't do that, it's an American heritage or drop Boys BASKETBALL OH my god if they did that once again there would be an outcry that the can't get scholarships to good universities. I'd be willing to bet then the schools would get their funding that they NEED to insure that our future generation stays the best in the world.
I like to think that one day when I have they will grow up with the best education possible, and have all the opportunities available to them.
What are your thoughts on the subject?

Hi read this post and thought it was about the best one I've read in a really long time, so I reposted it here. Neptunex is the original poster of this, so I figure I should give them the credit for it. I really can't stand plagiarism. I'd love to hear from y'all about this thought.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE WHO WERE BORN IN THE
1940's, 50's, 60's and 70's !!
First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us.
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a tin, and didn't get tested for diabetes.
Then after that trauma, our baby cots were covered with brightly colored lead-based paints.
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking .
As , we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags.
Riding in the back of a van - loose - was always great fun.
We drank water from the garden hosepipe and NOT from a bottle.
We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.
We ate cakes, white bread and real butter and drank pop with sugar in it, but we weren't overweight because......
WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!!
We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.No one was able to reach us all day.
And we were O.K.
We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem .
We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 99 channels on cable, no video tape movies, no surround sound, no mobile phones, no text messaging, no personal computers, no Internet or Internet chat rooms..........WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and looked for and found them!
We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents .
We played with worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.
We made up games with sticks and tennis balls and although we were told it would happen, we did not poke out any eyes.
We rode our bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or we just yelled for them!
Local sports teams had "tryouts" and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!
The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!

This generation has produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever!

The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.

We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO
DEAL WITH IT ALL!
CONGRATULATIONS!

This got me thinking.... What did you do when you were young that you could never imagine your experiencing.
