You haven't heard in the news, we've been having huge fires I live in LA the air was heavy with smoke from those outrageous fires!! I don't know if Malibu would ever be the same again!  I just want to get ready for the holidays.

Yes it's Halloween starting off the holidays that are about to come I can't believe just around the corner it's going to be in New Year!! Time just flew by!... well getting back to the day of Halloween I'm going to tell a spooky crazy story that's true. It was a time in my early twenties Young happy-go-lucky ,social butterfly, nightclubbing hopping ,and " naive" and very friendly... one day around evening time comfortably lounging on my living room couch my phone rings nearby where I'm sitting I answer my phone and I say hello hello! Then this man answers with this very strangely attractive voice any calls out this girl's name which I don't know who is that! So I tell him you got the wrong then he tells me isn't this so and so ? I say no you got the wrong ! Then he goes on and he asks me what's my name and I say I'm not going to tell you my name! I don't know you he says you have a beautiful voice then I say thank you. Then he says has anyone ever said that to then I say many times people always tell me I have a sexy voice then he says blah blah blah you get the picture so we start chatting talkin getting to know one another he describes himself tall very attractive fit could pass as a GQ model oh my really? So then he says we should go out then I tell him I'm not going to go out with a complete stranger! I'll call you a couple of times we get to know one another then we'll go out in the date. I say we'll see? So we start talking for a couple weeks I never tell him where I live I'm not sure if I really told him my name? I don't remember it's been awhile I mean a couple years it's been a long time since this happened to me. So I'm living my life then he calls but I'm not home and my sister answers and he's trying to get the address so he can send me flowers?? But my sister smart enough not to tell them where we live. So when I get home she tells me he called and that he tried to get the address from her and I questioned her and did you give him the address! She said no oh good! Long story short end up being a Fatal Attraction he told me if he knew where I live he would have came down in his truck and stab me yes I said stab me!! With a knife and that he will be on current affairs! Wow I am so glad I never went out with this guy never gave him my address and make sure that I got to know him on the phone before ever went out with him he was a complete nut are repeat nut!! Case and that's my story When a Stranger Calls don't answer it!!.

I avoid toxic people each day I endeavor to surround myself with positive people who bring good energy into my life I choose my friends very carefully I look for those who possess virtues like love, forgiveness, honesty. I stay away from people who breed negativity and who display traits like greed anger or jealousy, I realize it's easy to get caught up and such negativity so when I find myself around negative people I politely extricate myself from the situation when I surround myself with positive people life is more peaceful and fulfilling today I endeavor to live a clean healthy life devoid of the negativity of toxic people I focus on the positive and leave the negative behind...

Sometimes it feels nice just to get away from everything all the hustle and bustle of the city life or whatever type of life you live. And just to be one with nature to take in you're beautiful surroundings just to be alone with your thoughts can be so healing and it's cheaper then a therapist or a psychiatrist LOL just to enjoy nature that's a free gift in itself. . Be well people you deserve it to take care of yourselves much love and peace

That's right I am learning to live with less, the media teaches us we need more you are nobody if you don't have that perfume or that cologne or designer bag or that new car and yada Yara!! So we learn more is better until you have so much stuff it's driving you crazy. Well I want to live a simpler life so I started working on it giving away things that I don't use that I have never used still new trying not to purchase more stuff that I don't need! Oh and it's not all about the Clutter it's about cleaning one's entire life of relationships that are toxic that doesn't work or I feel does not longer work for me because it's toxic or it's not supportive. It's living a much happier life and simpler one at that.

In LA we are having scorching Heat it literally feels like melting, I have been drinking plenty of water trying to stay cool. Keeping my pet in the shade I want to work out but this heat is killing my workout routine. One good thing that came out of it have a real good tan right now. What kind of things do you do when it's so hot to keep yourself cool? Or places you like to go when the weather is so hot... I cannot wait for the weather to cool down

It's been a very long time since I post I hope everyone's well, the universe definitely has a sense of humor! There was this guy that we had a strong connection and chemistry with we spend time together chatting , "kissing," touching!! You know all that good stuff LOL until I found out he had a girlfriend! that broke my heart in many ways into tiny little pieces that I had to pick up from the floor and paste back together again. Well it's been a very long time since I seen him but he's been on my mind wondering how he's doing, is he okay? Last week yes it was the weekend I was in the grocery store shopping late at night who do you think I bumped into? In the same cashier that I was checking out he was right behind me! With his girlfriend my heart started to pound I felt nervous starting to sweat couldn't believe it was him with his girlfriend OMG!! I thought to myself is this really happening!! I felt like dying my knees were getting weak I thought to myself play it cool stay strong just be chill I turn my head to look at him well my eyes stared up and down from his head to his feet I even gazed at his face looking at his freckles well my heart is pounding feeling like I'm going to pass out well my inner voice is telling me play it cool. But who's standing behind him his girlfriend but I notice he doesn't say anything to me he's smiling and he doesn't recognize me!!! What! He doesn't know who I am? I feel safe he doesn't recognize me! He doesn't recognize me!! So I watch him pick up a little bit of groceries that he bought and left with his girlfriend. OMG why didn't you recognize me then I just remembered he doesn't have his glasses on he can't see without them he's blind well not literally LOL so I didn't take it personally after I thought he doesn't have his glasses!! As I leave the grocery store I thought to myself yes the universe definitely has a sense humor! LOL

A new beginning

The reason I titled this blog a new beginning this is my first blog of many that I deleted all hundred + 30, I wanted to wipe the Slate clean.. I really haven't been inspired to write new poetry, my first thought it's from Helen Keller when one door closes another door opens.. there was someone on here that was special to my heart that really inspired me to write my poetry but enough said all I have to say is I am no longer upset with you, I took the higher Road.... What comes to mind is each day when we wake up from whatever bad day we had or horrible day we have had Each morning when we open our eyes that new day for a new beginning a change of mindset to see things differently, to feel things differently, it's a new beginning.
