Steel Pier
Hanging out on the beach today by the Steel Pier.

The Steel Pier is a 1,000-foot-long amusement pier in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Built in 1898, it has been one of the most popular entertainment venues in the United States for the first seven decades of the twentieth century, with concerts, exhibits, and an amusement park.

Looked so much nicer way-back-when.

 Lovely photos- both of them. I got to go there once on a reallyy nice sunny in off season( end of March) about 7 years ago- lucky some of the architecture has been preserved

Thanks for reading and the comment. You're correct. On the Steel Pier is where they had the Diving Horse. I know the city tried bringing that back in 2012. Just never worked out. To many animal rights group shut it down.

 I was there once back in the late 50's-early 60's maybe, but I really don't remember much about it at all.
I've also hear about that diving horse. . I think I've seen a video, too.
Great pictures!
The first one is in it's glory days... the second one is kinda sad.
Kind of like pictures of me...
