Agree very much. Just see what happen with HIV was a disease from Africa. The 2 should be keep in isolation longer. I thought I read this missionary Priest from Spain die who was found with Ebola Virus having giving one of those experimental drug.

Of course your opinion makes perfect sense. But even if they do take a more cautious strategy with these 2 lucky/unfortunate individuals (as the case may be), these days there are far more holes in the wall. In an age of mass global travel it would be a miracle if this dreaded pestilence did not turn into a global epidemic. But then again, put in perspective, while human endeavour is battling to overcome this natural catastrophe, other humans are going on senseless killing rampages elsewhere. Sir Teezalot WAR IS ABSURD

Gah! Don't you remember the first rule of the Illuminiti? I'd hit up the support blog about the location thing... that's something that happened a few months ago and quite a few of us dropped off the location based list. I emailed and eventually I showed up again. It was right about the time the TopFan crap came into being and there was speculation that the missing blogs were related to people opting out. I wish I could remember how I did it but I know I followed a tip from [blog AntiquePearl].

I had that problem when Ryan was still here and let him know get fix with my blog did not show on my location and even not shown on the list, of all the active bloggers. Only show on my location when I post a new blog post but not as a active blogger. In july recently had post on site support blog posted about the issue and even to show what I post on my blog all disappeared. Some member blogs are not showing up when browsed by location The site fix that but can fix to show me as one of the active blogger. I can't be bother. You should post to site support blog. I think they try help those if the member let them know.As they don't know who is missing on the blog list. As today, I still not an active blogger in my location and also, that pages of active bloggers list for all the location. Am suppose to be some where on page 4. Here is a screen shot when I click to browse my location. You can see am not an active blogger. At least show me post. [image] **Just hope the image show, as I had problem to post image on my blog, often it disappear. Ending I bling it. Take too much time**

Part of my argument against government provided or mandated healthcare is that government interests are not always the same as the patient's interest. I am not as worried about the Ebola problem as you are. They have known about it for years and are fairly confident that once you get over it you aren't contagious or going to relapse. If you are treated by western medicine (mainly avoiding secondary problems and keeping your temperature down and hydrated with IV fluids) your chances of survival are pretty good. If you don't get treated properly your chances are pretty bad. One of the major ways of contacting the disease is by preparing bodies for burial. In Islamic countries and a lot of third world countries it is the family of a victim that prepares the body for burial. That is why it is such a problem in Africa.

My position as the top blogger of Norway seems secure, whatever the glitches. Some medical researchers point out that it is impossible to know if the medication worked - or just delayed the healing process. And viruses are known to linger, and to mutate. <- Profile photo courtesy of Bonding with coworkers

I thought it was stupid to bring them back here in the 1st place, but I voiced this and was told "BUT THEY ARE AMERICANS"... so the hell what. It was our government and the CDC wanting to show their superiority with this new mysterious drug. And I agree, how do we know they are ebola free, what we don't know about it could very well kill off the whole state where the hospital was. But it doesn't seem to have spread in the US from these people (as of yet).

I think....you are a smart man. NEVER trust the govt. sounds fishy to me.....

It's like the information surrounding the origin of the HIV/AIDS virus (or whatever it is); somewhere along the line I've read that it was developed by our government's bio-weapons developers. In the book "The Hot Zone" (not an erotic novel) it was theorized that it might have from folks whose diets consisted of monkey-brains, facilitating the jump from animals to humans. We're yet to find out the truth of it.

I would think that it would be a relaaatively easy thing to test and/or spot active Ebola virus in them at this point... Just saying. I really don't know enough from a true medical perspective to say for sure but that DOES make sense to me. -tm
