Never Lose Hope by ThePoetic1 Never Lose Hope Don't tell me you're stuck on the ground Spread your wings and fly Don't tell me you feel depressed Be happy because there is no need to cry All you see is darkness- Around every corner and every turn Its easy to find the light my friend But you have to be willing to learn Grab a hammer Get ready to smash through your walls Don't slouch like a sad fool Lift your head up and stand tall I can lead you to the well of joy But I can't make you drink You have to change your negative attitude You have to change the way you think Stay positive - you can win Everyone has the ability to succeed Confidence and courage- Are the things that you need How do you find happiness? How can you overcome your sorrow? Think positive and remain hopeful You can start over when the sun rises tomorrow I know you've been kicked and beaten I know you've been spat upon But there comes a time- When you have to move on Everyone isn't out to get you You have the ability to find a friend This is the start of a new beginning Stop thinking that this is the end I know you're tired and weary I know you're at the end of your rope But you must never give up the fight Never lose hope "In Every Soul a Poet Silently Lingers" - ThePoetic1 |
