 I love the mention of the liquor store. My folks got boxes there also. It was great .... except.... They were Mormon, and we lived in a nearly 100% Mormon community, so almost everbody that came to help load the truck were also Mormon, and they got a lot of comments about those boxes!

Sounds like you will be downsizing. That can be traumatic on its own. I moved from a 2 and a half acre place with lots of outbuildings, and a 2800 sq ft house to a 1200 square foot apartment. I rented two storage units and still felt like I was leaving soooo much behind.
