Life in a secure and happy place with people who you adore who simply adore you back; when it's sensually appealing and wonderfully done, it leaves the rest of us hoping we could get that too!

Nice post, thanks for sharing, as always

I prefer honesty too...but I have to confess, I've told the gentle white lies too. Sometimes a friend needs brutal honesty and sometimes it just isn't the right approach, and I've tried to kind of triangulate to the truth- it's a situational thing, you know? But I think I understand what you mean- we tend to know when there is something a friend or lover needs to know about us, that omitting important details about ourselves that might be deal breakers, or hurtful later on is the wrong thing to do. And in that case, it's best to get it out there and take the consequences than to conceal in an effort to protect ourselves. Hiding significant things about ourselves isn't the way to build trust.

Perfect example of "Odd Then, Fantastic Now," but a question remains... what got you to take a walk on the wild side? Was it an event, an individual (or individuals), or an evolution?

Monogamy can be quite a strain on a relationship sometimes!

You've made your bed and lay in it. The fact that you're content and in a happy place makes it so worthwhile.

Once you realize who you are and what you need, life becomes for more simple. I am happy for you. You know know who you are and what you enjoy. You sound wonderfully open minded. It's just finding people with similar interests and desires.
This is a place that can help.

We aren't wolves of geese and we don't mate for life and never be with anyone again. I've known several triads where they lived together as husband and two wives who slept with each other and only one with him, and at least one two men and a woman situation.

You are a grown up and know what you want and need.. Someone can fill your emotional needs and not all the physical ones. Recognizing that is a big step. What makes you happy and doesn't hurt others is all that counts.

Lust brings you together, love keeps you there, sex keeps the mechanism lubricated.

I should have said I hope you don't mind me asking, least my experience least as with women in the Ls/poly, what's good for the goose isn't always good for the gander. And I will admit this might be a bit shaded by the shallow pool of Alaska.

Don't compromise yourself! You are all you've got!
