Thankfully we have had a really mild winter over here, but that's a bit brutal when nearly in spring

Sorry for the snow troubles you'll be getting. I seen that heavy snow forecast for your area when I looked at the national weather map on the Weather Channel this morning. The snow accumulation here fell well short of the 3 and 1/2 inches that was predicted. The snow has been falling for about 12 hours in this area of Michigan, still falling, with a total of 3/4 inches on the ground. With this kind of low hitting over the Ohio valley with a east wind crossing Lake Huron; this area usually will get hammered with snow. Lake Effect Snow just like what is predicted for your area.

We're getting a cold front in Florida where it'll be near 40 degrees on Thursday, but back up to mid-70s over the weekend.

Be safe and make sure your daughter does most of the shoveling.

Evening,

Missing out on this one. I'll be up for a week in April and hopefully there won't be any late season snowfall. It's very pretty as long as I'm not shoveling it.

Take care and looking forward to your photos.

XOX,
H

Stay warm and dry my dear. We got a mix of snow and rain today. Seems that winter isn't ready to give way to spring just yet.

Hi,

I'm hoping. Don't have any big plans with the kids while I'm there. My son is registered for driver's ed until 3:30 during the week, so there won't be any long road trips this time. I'm sure we'll find stuff to do still in the evenings though.

I'll be checking for those photos.

Take care,
H

Wow, I'm in the pink zone!

They said 12-18 on the news tonight but it isn't anything surprising, these are normal storms for around here, it's just that we've been getting spoiled by these mild winters lately.

I bet you won't be wearing your swimsuit to take those pictures of all that water.

Stay safe and warm inside then.

We're not having storms right now. It's been simply beautiful outside. It's March, and we get those wonderful purple flowers from the ground cover in March. If I can get a good shot, I'll send you a picture. (Truly not trying to rub it in...)

Yikes!
4 in of snow an hour at 50 mph...

You're not married, right?
Just stand at your window in a nightgown. . You'll have guys shoveling your walk for free... just because they're nice guys, of course.

I'm in Canada and we have been getting hammered by snow all winter long!!
In fact a large storm just went thru us in Manitoba. Poor Churchill, Manitoba....they were literally closed off!! They had a continous storm of 48 hours....the second longest storm recorded ever!! The town even declared a state of emergency Now that insane!!
Good luck with your snow Miss Kissin.

I am so glad I live such a temperate climate zone and don't have to contend with feets of snow (actually we don't even get inches of it here). Though you could look at it as a great opportunity to exercise (and keep warm).

We were affected here as well, 8 - 12 inches was the forecast, however, it turned to rain overnight and most of it is gone. That is at least my area. I am not certain how the rest of the Maritimes made out.

It was an interesting drive home last night from work and I am hoping not too bad of a drive in this morning.

We've not had much in the way of snow for a few years which is a real shame. I recall many occasions in the past when we could be snowed in for a few days !
