 Happy Birthday! Why worry about putting a nice tidy label on those relationships? On a cognitive level, you have no troube understanding the nature of said relationships, so that seems good enough.

 Another belated Happy Birthday. I've never been to a club, although I've heard about them. On a personal level, I don't think I could completely separate emotion from sex. If nothing else, I know I'd feel grateful for the attention and affection.

I'll second my buddy above...as long as you know where you stand, and are okay with it, there's no need for a label.

 Thing is, labels help when you're doing this online stuff. If I say I'm looking for an FWB, that means one thing; if I say I'm looking for a romantic partner who is as into sex w/other people as I am, that's another thing. I'm not sure many people understand my desire for the latter, even though I tried to explain it in my profile. At any rate, the people who are writing to me are obviously only interested in the one thing.

Sadly, I am finding out that most of the potential partners who write me are married, which automatically rules out the romantic part of it. I guess I just don't want to die old and alone; I want to share my life with someone; I want to make a difference in someone's life and for someone to make a difference in mine. I also want lots of sex with various people. Traditionally these things do not go hand in hand, I guess...
