"viewed your profile" means nothing

It seems that there has been a large groundswell of hate against this site because of "fake" profile views.

Of course, this all stems from people's belief that a profile view actually means someone is interested.

Think about it:

Someone went to your profile, viewed all your pics, and read what you are interested in....

then did not send a message
did not invite you as a friend
did not even send a flirt

For whatever reason you were not what they were looking for. Heck, i can accept that my profile gets lots of views because I have HOT pics on there, that doesn't mean people are looking to hook up with me (especially when they realize I am part of a couple)

So, stop reading so much into profile views and have fun

I agree. It does not begin to possibly mean anything until someone flirts, hot lists and best; sends an email. If I contact in some way that usually means I have some interest, otherwise just window shopping like most of us do.

I, at least, like to admire the package before opening..

I'm not interested in hot lists or flirts that are from out of state
those are site generated.

Using more than all the road!

The fake profile views are primarily aimed at trying to get people to upgrade. That's my theory anyway.

I know most of them are faked, some are caused by a mouse-over a profile picture, some are generated when you visit or post on their blog, and a very few are actually genuine.

I think that is true to some extent, but not entirely. I'm seeing two people regularity when I visit Vegas that began with flirts from them.

I have men occasionally email me to thank me for viewing them, and I know damn well I didn't. Didn't hover over their profile or anything close! I never even saw their profiles before. ..... Many times it is just Passion with their silly little games!

I agree that Passion plays games with false profile views to keep men interested. I assume this is done so that the male recipients will pay to be members in order to have the power to send a flirt, add them as friends or send e-mails. Myself and other standard members lack such abilities, unless we spend points to be a fan. But even then, there are communication limitations.

Amazing how I get views from "people" from all over the world.

Most don't realize that Passion reflects every quick view as a profile view and just passing your cursor over a picture opens a quick view. As a standard member I cannot read profiles but I am frequently contacted on IM and thanked for reading a profile or asked why I keep opening their profile.
