If you are using a cell phone there are attachments for a cell phone to be mounted on a tripod and there are self timer cell phone applications too. I just did a web search for "tripods for cell phones" and found both information items in the list of possibilities. I have used a tripod camera combination with a self timer for many of my own photos. Frame the photo area, set the timer and move into the framed area; simple, but you will take a lot of photos through trial and error this way. LOL
