Ages and and Limits?

I often wonder, as I look at peoples profiles, how they decide on an age limit/requirement? As I was filling out the initial information required to join this site, I pondered about some of the people in my regular life and realized I like to socialize with a great range of folks. It is different, obviously, when you start considering being very intimate with someone(s). I wouldn't feel too comfortable with someone my parents age I guess. They are 70 & 74 and fantasticly cool people, but.....

If I am ok with someone who is 45yo, what about 47? If he/she has a birthday are they suddenly too old for me? If I meet someone, and find them attractive, witty, etc. do they become less attractive, witty etc. when I find out they are 19yo??? or 50???

How do YOU decide? Are you flexible in your requirements? Willing to make exceptions?

 I'm pretty flexible, but if I can't talk to a person, they're not getting anywhere near me. Lol, I also draw the line at people my Dad's age....ewww!

Semi-intelligent is a definite must though!

 you are 28 and you are ok with someone 45? you are flexible! but dont you find teens and young women more attractive? when I was a teen a dated men in their 30 ands 40s and it seemed the the entire world wanted in my pants, Now that Im older, (2 i dont nearly the same amount of attention.

Well I'm 37, not 28. For me outer physical beauty is yes very pleasing to the eye, but it usually doesn't take more than a few minutes to find out if that very pretty woman is a total bitch or a very cool woman. Most of the jerks I've come across are in the lifestyle are only out for their own sexual gratification and not for a good time for all involved. I personally like the cool ones not the bitches
I've also found that most people mellow with age and are not so stuck on themselves as they get out of their teens and twenties.
