A friend just started texting me sexually. Or trying.

"I want to" "Do you want" "Do you like"... and I realized something.

If somebody just starts chatting like that, straight up questions... they are much more likely to get my analytical brain, rather than my fantasizing/creative side.

I've seriously had guys, in the past, be all "oh, I'm so hot, you're making me so excited!" and I'm "Uhm... why? How? I thought you were trying to have a logical and at times scientific discussion about sex in general. I haven't been involved or engaged in any of this"

I need more "engagement", more creative flow, for my mind to switch over.

Hopefully this makes sense. Not too sure I explained it well at all. Just... it bugs me when I discover we're at such odds.

And I just discovered a new favorite sexual position... "The Electric Slide" hehe

I'm feeling a word missing, maybe "emotional". Is that what you mean to say, that the missing element is emotional involvement?

humorguaranteed nailed it... the "Sensual" is missing. It borders on emotion but isn't quite... though emotional involvement makes things 100x better.

 It seems, in the chat starters you describe, that there is a sensual side missing. Can't just jump into sex talk... there has to be an introduction. And after that? Some very tangible verbal stimulation which evokes the five senses...

I too hate direct questions like that... especially if there's no segue into it. It usually flips my brain right into make-a-joke mode!

LOL Dang... Passion is totally going to ruin your sex life.

First the whole "Men Suck at eating pussy" and vacuum cleaner thing, and now "boogie woogie woogie" haha

I vaguely recall a few jokes and tons of laughter (on my side) from openings like that as well. For some reason they typically don't think I'm so funny in those moments.
